WHAT: Sacramento International Airport (SMF) and its partners will be hosting a second job fair to fill multiple job openings. SMF hosted a job fair in August with more than 200 visitors, some even received on-site interviews with managers. Those interested in participating in the job fair should come dressed for success and bring multiple copies of their resume. Participants will get a chance to speak directly to hiring managers looking to fill positions. Per federal mandate, all visitors to the airport must wear a mask.
Available positions with SMF and its tenants include opportunities from customer service agents, cargo handlers, maintenance technicians, positions with the parking division and airlines, and crew members in the Airport’s shops and restaurants, including cooks, baristas, sales associates and supervisors.
VISUALS: SMF, airlines and service providers will be participating, each hosting their own table. Directional signage will be in place to assist job seekers.
WHEN: Wednesday, Sept. 29, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
WHERE: Sacramento International Airport, Terminal A, 2nd Floor, Room 2070 and the Media Room. Parking vouchers for the garage will be provided for anyone who attends.
BACKGROUND: SMF is rebounding from the pandemic and it’s happening faster than originally expected, leading to increased employment opportunities. SMF is excited that our passengers have returned and that the increase in travel is expected to continue.
