The Sacramento County Coroner's Office is seeking the public's assistance in identifying an unidentified man.
On September 27, 2022 at approximately 2337 hours, CHP reported a motor vehicle versus pedestrian (hit & run). The location was south bound Howe Ave. north of Cottage Way in Sacramento. A bag with boots was located next to the decedent. A thorough search of the area and the decedent's person yielded no identification. The cause of death is multiple blunt force injuries, and the manner of death is an accident.
The decedent's age is estimated to be 40–60 years of age. Race is unknown. His height and weight are 129 pounds and 63 inches tall. He has brown eyes. The decedent has short, straight gray hair (with black). There are no identifying marks, scars, or tattoos on the body.
