August is National Golf Month, and the Sacramento County
Department of Regional Parks has three championship golf courses for residents and visitors to check out and enjoy. The courses offer a variety of settings and designs for a wide range of player skills.
Because each course resides near or within a regional park, it is not uncommon for players to share a fairway with turkeys, deer, geese and other wildlife.
Besides getting in 18 holes, picturesque views and a terrific meal, our golf courses offer a variety of classes, lessons and programs for all skill levels.
Ancil Hoffman - The Main Event Bar & Grill offers a variety of classic American Cuisine, all cooked to order using the freshest, locally sourced meats, cheeses, breads and vegetables. While typically open daily to the public for breakfast beginning at 7 a.m., hours of operation vary slightly depending on the time of year and weather conditions.
