Sacramento County’s
Bradshaw Animal Shelter is participating in
Clear the Shelters – a month-long adoption event to alleviate the high impact of their animal intake. Currently, the shelter is overcrowded with animals and is in desperate need of adopters and foster care providers.
The shelter is offering waived adoption fees every Saturday and Sunday throughout the month of August and
adoption specials are available on weekdays. Adoptions are available on a first-come, first-served basis and no appointment is necessary. The shelter is open Tuesday through Sunday between noon and 5 p.m. and Wednesday between noon and 6 p.m.
Those interested in adopting can view available pets online by
visiting the shelter’s website. Adoptions include spay or neuter surgery, vaccines, a lifetime microchip registration and one-year licensing (for county residents).
