Are you ready to vote? Registered voters in Sacramento County by now have received Sample Ballots or requested Vote-by-Mail ballots – and with the June 3 Primary Election Day coming up this Tuesday, now is the time to start thinking about voting.
Being Prepared
If you have a Vote-by-Mail (VBM) ballot make your choices, sign the envelope, attach postage, and get it in the mail early so that it arrives at the Registrar of Voters by 8:00 p.m. on June 3. Postmarks are not accepted and if your Vote-by-Mail ballot doesn’t arrive in time it will not be counted. Should you run out of time to mail your VBM ballot, you can drop it off at a polling station in Sacramento County.
Use your sample ballot booklet to make your choices ahead of time and bring it with you to your polling place.
Now, is a great time to find your polling place, so you know where to go to vote on June 3. There are four ways to find your polling place location:
Polling places will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and if you are in line when the polls close, you will be allowed to vote.
