Want a happy start to your new year? Why not adopt your new best friend or family member from the
Bradshaw Animal Shelter? Adoptions are only $25, and we've already had our first adoption of 2020! Plus, adopting gives a shelter pet a second chance at a new life.
Bradshaw Animal Shelter's first adopted animal in 2020 is Gizmo, a 13-week-old Lynx Point Siamese kitten. Before arriving at the Bradshaw Animal Shelter, Gizmo was found without a mother or siblings, by a woman who would become his temporary caregiver through
the shelter’s foster program. Gizmo lived in foster care from Oct. 24 until today, when he was finally up for adoption.
Not long after the shelter doors opened today, the Sumati’s found him and instantly fell in love. Gizmo is very excited to finally have a forever family and permanent home, where he will have the opportunity to show off his sweet personality and undeniable cuteness.
The Bradshaw Animal Shelter has a wide variety of animals
available to adopt today. The Sumati family may have adopted Sacramento County’s first shelter pet in 2020, but it’s not too late to adopt your new best friend or family member in 2020.
