The County of Sacramento and Sally Swanson Architects, Inc., are seeking public comment on an updated Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan (SETP). The ADA requires that a public entity maintain a SETP to identify and plan for removal of policy, program and physical barriers to facilitate equal access and participation for people with disabilities.
The County Board of Supervisors received the draft SETP reports and opened the 30-day public comment period at its Oct. 22 meeting. The SETP Board hearing will be closed captioned and interpreted in American Sign Language (ASL) and will be available to
view online within 48 hours after the conclusion of the meeting.
Comments regarding the draft SETP report may be submitted by email to
ADAplan@saccounty.net or in writing to Sacramento County Disability Compliance Office, 700 H Street, Room 5720 Sacramento, CA 95814. All comments will be included in the final report. The Public Comment period will close at 5 p.m. on Nov. 22, 2019.
A printed copy is available for public inspection during normal business hours at the Clerk of the Board’s Office, County Administration Building, 700 H Street, Room 2450, Sacramento, CA 95814. Accessible formats are available on request.
