The new schedule offers flights to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) four times a week, on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Sun Country will operate out of Terminal B.
"This is the first time Sun Country will have scheduled service at Sacramento International," said Make Haneke, manager of air service development at Sacramento International Airport. "This nonstop service will offer a great low cost option for business travelers and those visiting friends and relatives."
"We look forward to Sun Country remaining a carrier at SMF long into the future," Haneke added.
Minneapolis is a popular destination for business travelers as well as those visiting friends and family.
Service starts May 23 with one-way fares starting as low as $119.
