Celebrate in North Highlands, 30 years of National Night Out! If you are looking for a free, family friendly community rally featuring music, children’s entertainment, and McGruff, the Crime Fighting Dog, then the 30th Anniversary Celebration of National Night Out in North Highlands is just for you.
The party begins at 6 p.m. on August 6 in Freedom Park, E and 32 Street in North Highlands. There is plenty of free parking with three locations: Church of God, across the street from the Park; Aerospace Museum next to Park; and Watt parking lot at the NW corner of Freedom Park Drive and Watt Avenue.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for residents to strengthen relationships with service providers and law enforcement and gain valuable tips for creating safe neighborhoods,” said Susan Peters, Chair of the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors.
Sponsors of the event are Sacramento County, McClellan Park, Recycling Industries, and the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department.
