Come say your “I Dos” with us! If you and your partner are planning to get married soon, you will be happy to know that the Sacramento County Clerk/Recorder new main office is open for extended hours this Valentine’s Day!
Instead of closing at 5 p.m., the new central site located at 3636 American River Dr. in Sacramento, will stay open until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 14, for marriage licenses and ceremony services for couples arriving by 7:20 p.m. Additional fees apply for services after 5 p.m., and appointments are recommended.
Appointments can be made online by visiting the County’s online marriage appointment calendar. If no available appointments appear on the website, call the Clerk/Recorder’s office at 916-874-6131.
A list of fees can be found on the Clerk/Recorder’s website.
Can’t make the extended hours on Valentine’s Day or want to pick a day that’s special to you and your partner? No problem! Each office location has scheduled extended hours on a rotational basis for limited services. Check the Clerk/Recorder's Location and Hours page for full details.
