Walnut Grove Bridge, crossing the Sacramento River south of the historic town of Walnut Grove, is undergoing urgent repairs that require full closure of the bridge from March 22-26, 2016. Repairs include replacement of bridge locking mechanisms that secure the two sides of the bridge together when open to vehicular traffic. No vehicles will be allowed on the bridge during the closure period. However, the pedestrian walkway on the North side of the bridge will be available for pedestrian traffic during the closure.
