On Friday, Oct. 11, from 9 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.,
Sacramento County, in coordination with the Fulton Avenue Association and regional business professionals, will host the Annual Arden Arcade Business Walk. The event will help Sacramento County better understand the needs of local businesses in the area in order to develop ideas, initiatives and policies focused on improving the business climate.
The
Department of Economic Development is looking for community members to volunteer at the event. Volunteers will go out in teams of two and speak to local business owners onsite to learn more about what it is to do business in the Arden Arcade area.
Volunteers will receive a complimentary breakfast before receiving survey instructions, and lunch will be served as results of the walk are discussed among the group.
Past efforts provided valuable input that led the County to make infrastructure improvements on major commercial corridors, respond to code enforcement issues, created connections between the County and the local business community, as well as address public safety concerns.
The business walk will start at the Holiday Inn Express located at 2224 Auburn Boulevard, Sacramento, CA 95821. Check-in and breakfast will begin at 9 a.m.
