Sacramento County is joining local governments and business organizations by hosting a small business symposium on May 2 during the Capital Region’s Small Business Week, May 1-5, 2017.
The County’s Office of Economic Development and Business Environmental Resource Center (BERC) are hosting the “Roadmap to Success: Small Business Symposium,” from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 2 at McClellan Conference Center, 5411 Luce Avenue in McClellan Park. Attendees can register for the event for free.
Prospective small business owners or those who already own small businesses can attend the symposium to learn about the free and helpful resources available to help their organizations thrive. Event navigators will be on hand to direct attendees to resources including:
- Permits, licenses and inspections
- Forms of ownership
- Sellers Permits
- Record keeping
- Federal, state and local Taxes
- Funding sources
- Finding employees and subsidies
- Entrepreneur mentorship
