The Advanced Agenda Search is a new search engine that improves search capability for meeting agendas and documents that appear before the Board of Supervisors and for other Sacramento County public meetings. Not only does it make documents easier to find, but the results are produced extremely fast and are much easier to read.
The search engine scours all text contained in agenda documents since 2006 and is able to produce more relevant results. The type font is much easier to read and each result shows a snippet from the document with the key word(s) highlighted.
In addition to using key words, users can sort by:
• Meeting type
• Department
• Meeting date/year
“The use of an industry-leading search engine ensures that search relevancy and features can be adjusted and tuned over time as the users’ needs evolve,” said Rami Zakaria, Chief Information Officer for Sacramento County.
Find a list of all public meetings and view archived Board meeting information and agendas by using the “Advanced Search” button to get the improved search ability.
