Every year the employees of Sacramento County take action to ensure support of nonprofit charities globally and locally. To show the successes of the 2015 Sacramento County Employee Giving Campaign, the Campaign’s Chair and Director for the Department of Regional Parks, Jeff Leatherman, presented the campaign results today to the Board of Supervisors.
Throughout the month of October, Sacramento County employees donated to the five federations of charitable organizations, as well as non-profit Sacramento County programs that serve our communities. The grand total of the 2015 donations came to $265,636.
