Now there are more hours for pet adoptions and other services. Beginning Aug. 11, the Sacramento County Bradshaw Animal Shelter is expanding its shelter hours. The new daily hours are:
Tuesday: 12:30 – 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday: 12:30 – 5:30 p.m.
Thursday: 12:30 – 6:30 p.m.
Friday: 12:30 - 5:30 p.m.
Sat/Sun: Noon – 4:30 p.m.
The expanded hours reflect an additional open day, Tuesday, and an additional open hour on Thursday.
“We’re pleased to offer these expanded business hours to enhance adoption opportunities, reunite lost pets with their owners, and continue providing the many services the shelter offers to the public,” said County Executive Bradley J. Hudson. “These additional hours will allow an even better shelter experience.”
“We’re happy to have this opportunity to better serve the people of Sacramento County,” said Dave Dickinson, director of Animal Care and Regulation. “This is one of the many ways in which we are dedicated to improving the safety and well-being of the County’s residents and animals.”
