The 7th annual “Kitty Palooza” feline adopt-a-thon will be hosted by the Sacramento County Animal Shelter on Saturday, August 3 and Sunday August 4 from noon to 4:00 p.m. at 3839 Bradshaw Road. An abundance of cats and kittens are available in all colors and sizes ready to become someone’s new best friend at a reduced rate of $15 for kittens and for cats.
More than 200 cats and kittens are available and looking for their “fur-ever” home. Many of the kittens have been raised by foster care providers and are well-socialized with children and other animals. Each adoption includes spay/neuter surgery, microchip, ID tag and collar, 1-year license for County adopters, vaccinations, and a voucher for a free vet exam. These services are a $150+ value for just $15 for two days only.
This free event will also feature special “Kitty Starter Kits” for adopters, pet care information, and prize drawings. Volunteers and Animal Care staff will be on hand to help potential new owners find the perfect cat or kitten to take home.
