The 8th annual feline adopt-a-thon will be held at the Bradshaw County Animal Shelter on Saturday, August 2 and Sunday, August 3 from noon to 4:00 p.m. at 3839 Bradshaw Road. An abundance of adorable kittens and beautiful adult cats are available in all colors and sizes ready to become someone’s new best friend at a reduced rate of $15 for kittens and for cats, or, adopt two for just $20.
More than 200 cats and kittens are available for adoption and looking for warm laps to call home. Many of the kittens have been raised by foster care providers and have been well-socialized with children and other animals. Each adoption includes spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip, ID tag and collar, 1-year license for County adopters, vaccinations, and a voucher for a free vet exam. These services are a $150+ value for just $15 for two days only.
This free event will also feature special “Kitty Starter Kits” for adopters, pet care information, and prize drawings. Volunteers and Animal Care staff will be on hand to help potential new owners find the “purrfect” cat or kitten to take home.
