Each summer, the California State Fair presents a family-friendly event for all ages to enjoy and this year will not disappoint! The 17 day event will feature entertainment, sports attractions, music and performances, carnival rides and the coveted fried fair food. The State Fair will be held at Cal Expo, from July 8-24 and open Monday- Thursday from 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. and Friday- Sunday from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.
There are a number of
special events going on during the fair this year. Including but not limited to: $2 rides for children on Tuesdays, a brewfest on July 16 and a cornhole championship on July 23. The fair will also feature horse racing, professional rugby and high diving shows that will be held daily.
The musical acts will perform nightly on the Golden 1 Stage with appearances by the Plain White T’s, Matchbox Twenty Too and a Journey cover band named Journey Revisited, to name a few. The
