The 12th annual feline adopt-a-thon will be held at the Bradshaw Animal Shelter on Saturday, August 4, and Sunday, August 5, from noon to 4:30 p.m., at 3839 Bradshaw Road. An abundance of adorable kittens and beautiful adult cats are available in all colors and sizes ready to become someone’s new best friend.
Each adoption includes spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip, ID tag and collar, 1-year license for County adopters, and a voucher for a free vet exam. Adoption fees will be one cat for $15 or two for $20 all weekend long.
Volunteers and Animal Care staff will be on hand to help potential new owners find the “purrfect” cat or kitten to take home. There will be a special area for kids to make crafts as well.

The Bradshaw Animal Shelter is open Tuesday/Thursday 12:30 -6:30 p.m., Wednesday/Friday 12:30 - 5:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from Noon–4:30 p.m., and is closed Monday and most holidays.
