Worry no more. The Business Environmental Resource Center (BERC) is a FREE, confidential resource for business owners and potential business owners within Sacramento County. BERC helps untangle local, state and federal permitting and environmental regulatory requirements.

As part of the Sacramento County Office of Economic Development, BERC’s technical consultants provide strategic support and resources for start-up, existing and expanding businesses. The team has broad expertise in compliance assistance, expansion strategy and working with regulatory agencies. Consultants help roadmap compliance strategies related to:
