A grand opening was held for the new South County Service Center on East Stockton Boulevard off of Power Inn Road. Board Supervisors Jimmie Yee and Don Nottoli joined County Clerk/Recorder Craig Kramer in presenting the services the new Center will offer. The opening launches the fifth County center, all designed to bring essential services closer to the customers.
“We are continually expanding our services to the residents and businesses of Sacramento County, and want to make our services convenient and efficient,” said County Executive Bradley J. Hudson. “We’ve brought a different mix of services to each center in order to meet the customers’ demands.”
The Service Center is located at 8239 East Stockton Boulevard and is open Monday thru Friday, 9 – 4, and offers services from the Clerk Recorder including:
• Birth and death certificates
• Marriage licenses
• Marriage ceremonies
• Certified copies of recorded documents and maps
Other services include County Annual Parks Passes, Animal License renewals, and Revenue Recovery payments.
Building Permits and Inspections will be on hand Fridays (effective 4/4) to offer permit assistance, and hoteling stations for Code Enforcement, Transportation, and Water Resources as needed. Utility bill payments will also be accepted on Fridays.
“Every person will have at least one encounter with the Clerk Recorder’s office at once in their lifetime,” said Craig Kramer, County Clerk Recorder. “We’re proud to be able to bring these essential services closer to the people in the southern portion of the county.”
