      The Road & Lane Closures website provides a list that includes closures for all County road ways that are in unincorporated areas, or areas that the County inspects. It does not include state highways, such as Jackson, Hwy 50 and I-80. However, the list of lane closures is not all-inclusive, but rather includes only those closures most affecting the traveling public.       The Surface Transportation Assistance Act (STAA) of 1982 allows large trucks to operate on the Interstate and certain primary routes called collectively the National Network. These trucks, referred to as STAA trucks, are longer than California legal trucks. As a result, STAA trucks have a larger turning radius than most local roads can accommodate.
