Join the 5/6 Sheriff Community Review Commission Meeting

Sacramento County’s Sheriff Community Review Commission (SCRC) invites the public to participate in its May 6 meeting at 6 p.m. to hear from the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office regarding its annual military equipment use report.

This is your opportunity to:

  • Learn about the Sheriff's 2025 Annual Military Equipment Report
  • Submit questions on military equipment funding, acquisition & use
  • Share your thoughts in person or online

Per Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office Policy 706 (Military Equipment), the Sheriff’s Office must submit an annual military equipment report to the County Board of Supervisors.

Within 30 days of submitting and publicly releasing the annual report, the Sheriff's Office shall hold at least one community engagement meeting, where they should discuss the report and respond to public questions regarding the funding, acquisition or use of military equipment. This meeting of the SCRC will satisfy that requirement.

You can submit your questions in advance by emailing them to CRC@saccounty.gov or FosterL@saccounty.gov. The deadline for submitting questions is May 6 at 5 p.m.

Stakeholders are invited to participate and provide input to the Commission in the meeting in any of the following ways:
