​On Thursday, September 29, 2016, from 9 a.m.-Noon, the County’s Department of Human Assistance is hosting a Career Expo and job fair in their parking lot at 4990 Stockton Blvd. The job fair is open to the general public. No reservations are required and there is ample free parking.

There will be 53 local employers on-site with booths and information about available jobs including: the California Conservation Corps, IKEA, the Franchise Tax Board, U.C. Davis, the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Allied Barton, Apex Care, Medic Ambulance, FedEx, Union Pacific Railroad, Goodwill Industries, Napa Auto Parts, Pride Industries, the State of California, the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), Chipotle and Comcast.

Available jobs include warehousing, clerical, security work, housekeeping, delivery driving, retail sales, in-home care, HVAC maintenance, and ambulance driving.

1. Registration opens at 8 a.m.
2. Refreshments will be served.
3. This event is FREE to everyone.

Employees will be on-hand to provide information on how to apply for CalFRESH, CalWorks, Medi-Cal, and General Assistance.
