The Sacramento County Water Agency is partnering with the Sacramento Tree Foundation and the U.C. Master Gardeners to present three Landscape Workshops geared to give participants a head-start in preparing for any future climatic conditions that may come our way.
Workshop attendees will learn about:
importance of proper tree placement and planting,
signs of water stress,
simple soil moisture monitoring,
responsible watering techniques for young and mature trees during the drought and beyond,
selecting the right landscaping plants for your environment,
proper lawn care, and
vegetable gardening techniques.
Registration is not required, but is recommended to receive a tree watering bucket filled with fun gardening and water conservation items. Register and get more information at TakeAShowerSaveATree.org.
