Due to the continued forecast of low temperatures and possible wind chill, the County has extended its weather respite through January 27th at WETYC.
Regional Transit is supporting these locations with free rides.

Guests should call 2-1-1 or visit 211sacramento.org before accessing weather respite centers to get the latest information about locations, dates and times, as they may change based on availability and weather conditions.
Warren E. Thornton Youth Center (WETYC) inside the Gym, 4000 Branch Center Road
- Will remain open through Monday, Jan. 27 at 10 a.m.
- Pets are welcome (one per person, two per couple); they must be crated at all times in the gym and leashed outside the Center. Crates/leashes and dog/cat food are provided.
- Guests will receive a light breakfast, a bagged lunch and a warm dinner
- Showers and light case management available
Additional Weather Respite Centers Available:
Outreach and Engagement Center, 3615 Auburn Blvd.
- Will remain open through 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 27
North 5th Street Navigation Center, 700 North Fifth St.
- Will remain open overnight ONLY 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Monday, Jan. 27
