The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office has released the case summation for Angelica M. Bravo:
Angelica M. Bravo was a 28-year-old female who was found deceased at her boyfriend’s residence on July 8, 2024.
Following an investigation and autopsy, the cause of death is Undetermined. The autopsy revealed no evidence of significant natural disease that could have contributed to her death. However, Ms. Bravo had multiple abrasions and contusions on her head, face, torso, and extremities, along with a focal tongue hemorrhage. Although no definitive evidence of strangulation was identified, the possibility of asphyxiation by smothering cannot be entirely ruled out.
Toxicology testing revealed the presence of MDMA (methylenedioxymethamphetamine), MDA (methylenedioxyamphetamine), and cannabinoids, raising the possibility of a drug overdose. Based on the autopsy findings, toxicology results, and circumstances surrounding the death, homicidal violence cannot be fully excluded as a potential cause.
