To better serve our community and improve operational efficiency, Sacramento County Clerk/Recorder (CCR) is consolidating its late Thursday services into one convenient, centralized location. Beginning Thursday, May 21, 2026, all extended Thursday office hours (5-8 p.m.) will be offered exclusively at 3636 American River Drive, Suite 110 in Sacramento.
This centrally located 26,952 square foot facility has two marriage ceremony rooms and is in the unincorporated area of the County. The location provides a streamlined and accessible experience for customers seeking limited services during extended hours. These services include:
- Marriage licenses and marriage ceremonies (by appointment only)
- Certified copies of birth, death, and marriage certificates
By bringing these services under one roof, CCR aims to minimize customer confusion for extended Thursday evening hours and ensure more efficient experience for the community.
