The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an unidentified adult male (Coroner Case 26-03633).
On Sept. 13, 2026, an unidentified male was found in the American River by two passing individuals. There were no signs of trauma. The decedent was wearing clothing consistent with active gear. Fingerprints yielded zero results. No identifying documents were located.
The cause and manner of death are pending toxicology and other ancillary test results.
He appears between 20-40 years of age and either Hispanic or Asian, possibly of mixed race. He measures 5 feet 7 inches and weighs 175 pounds. His eyes are brown in color. The decedent’s hair is black in color, straight and appears long. There are no identifying marks, scars or tattoos. The decedent has a black mustache with a beard and goatee of similar color.
