Sacramento County will join community partners and regional organizations at Sacramento Earth Day 2026, connecting with residents and sharing information about local sustainability efforts and services.

The event will take place on Sunday, April 26, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Southside Park.

Sacramento County will have multiple departments and teams on hand to engage with attendees. County staff will be available to provide information, answer questions and highlight programs that support environmental stewardship and climate resilience across the region.

Attendees are encouraged to stop by the County’s booths to:

  • Meet the County’s new Climate Team and learn about implementation of the Climate Action Plan
  • Enter a circular economy raffle, featuring prizes from the County’s Surplus Store
  • Speak with members of the Climate Emergency Mobilization Task Force about ongoing climate initiatives
  • Connect with representatives from County departments including Emergency Management, Waste Management and Recycling, Water Resources, Voter Registration and Airports.

Sacramento County encourages community members to attend, visit the County’s booths, and explore ways to support a more sustainable future.
