Roses are Red – Violets are blue – This is your sign to say, “I Do.”
If you and your partner plan to get married soon, you will be happy to know that the Sacramento County Clerk/Recorder main office is open for after-hours extended services this Valentine’s Day!
Instead of closing at 5 p.m., the central site, located at 3636 American River Dr. #110 in Sacramento, will stay open until 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14, for marriage licenses and ceremony services. Additional fees apply for services delivered after 5 p.m., and appointments are required.
Appointments can be made online by visiting the County’s online marriage appointment calendar. If no available appointments appear on the website, call the Clerk/Recorder’s office at 916-874-6131. A list of fees can be found on the Clerk/Recorder’s website.
Can’t make the extended hours on Valentine’s Day or want to pick a day that’s special to you and your partner? No problem! Both office locations have scheduled extended hours on a rotational basis for limited services. Check the Clerk/Recorder's Location and Hours page for full details.
