Public Safety Advisory Committee Now Recruiting

​The Sacramento County Public Safety and Justice Agency (PSJA) Advisory Committee is excited to invite community members to learn more about how they can get involved! 

A special introductory event will be held on Monday, Jan. 27, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Department of Health Services (7001 East Parkway, Sacramento, CA 95823) to inform prospective members about the committee’s work. 

Participants can connect with Deputy County Executive Eric Jones and leaders from Sacramento County’s criminal justice and social services agencies. During the gathering, attendees will:

  • Hear about the important work of the PSJA Advisory Committee 
  • Learn about the committee’s role and member expectations 
  • Stay up to date on key public safety topics, including the Mays Consent Decree, Sacramento County’s jail population, the Sequential Intercept Model, and more.
