This Labor Day weekend, Bradshaw Animal Shelter invites Sacramento County residents to make a difference that lasts a lifetime. From Friday, Aug. 29 through Sunday, Aug. 31, all adoption fees will be waived as we work to connect more animals with loving families.

Last year, 75 pets found their homes over the holiday weekend. This year, our goal is even greater. We are aiming for 100 adoptions in just three days, and with your help, we know it can be done. Every adoption not only changes the life of the pet you bring home, it also creates space in our shelter for another animal waiting for its chance at a new beginning.

The shelter is full of wonderful dogs, cats and other pets of all ages and personalities. Whether you are hoping for the energy of a playful puppy, the steady loyalty of an older dog, the comfort of a purring kitten, or the calm companionship of a senior cat, there is an animal waiting to meet you.

Visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter website to view the pets available for adoption and start your search for the one who will complete your family. Then come to the shelter this weekend and help us reach our goal of 100 adoptions. Together, we can clear the shelter and make a lasting impact in Sacramento County.
