Coroner Seeks Public’s Assistance Identifying Jane Doe

The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an unidentified adult female, Coroner Case 21-02297.

On March 21, 2021, the decedent was found on the shore of the Sacramento River in Isleton. She was in an obvious state of decomposition. A blue jacket with blue/white plaid lining was observed around her neck. A sock was noted on her left foot. She wore no other clothing. Despite a thorough search of the area, no personal identifying papers or items were found.

She appears Caucasian or Hispanic, with an estimated age range of 30-60 years of age. There are no tattoos or identifiable scars. The decedent is approximately 5 feet tall and weighs around 100 pounds. She has medium length black/gray curly hair; her eyes appear brown in color. The decedent’s teeth are in good condition. Due to the condition of the body, the Coroner’s Office was unable to obtain fingerprints.
