Board of Supervisors Special Meeting – Jan. 3

The Sacramento County Board of Supervisors will meet virtually on Tuesday, Jan. 3 for a special meeting to vote on the ratification of a Proclamation of Local State of Emergency for Winter Storms.* 

Sacramento County has experienced an atmospheric river that began Dec. 31, 2022, and has resulted in significant transportation impacts, rising creek and river levels and flooding in Wilton and Point Pleasant. 

If ratified, the County Executive will return to the Board of Supervisors at least every sixty days with a recommendation to continue or terminate the local emergency.

This meeting will be telecast live on Metro Cabl​e 14 and on the web,​ and members of the public may be heard either over the phone or through written comments

*The board packet has been updated to correct a numbering error on items 3 and 4.
