- Bingo
Invite your employees to participate in a rousing game of virtual BINGO, no paper or daubers needed! Set aside an hour of your workday and encourage everyone to decorate their space with good luck charms.
Giving Component:
Employees give a predetermined price to participate. The entry donation can be as little as $5 or as much as $25.
Major Steps:
- Choose BINGO patterns (diagonal, postage stamp, four corners, kite, lucky seven, cover all, etc.)
- Select number of BINGO rounds and determine prizes
Competition:
Once the board patterns and number of rounds have been determined, award the first few winners $5-10 to give to the nonprofit of their choice. On the last round, choose a board that's more difficult, like full board coverage, and award that winner $25-50 to donate to their selected nonprofit.
Engage employees through personal pictures and friendly competition while highlighting local nonprofits and causes impacting the community. Each competition will be focused around a theme and feature a slideshow compilation.
Giving Component:
Employees contribute a predetermined price to enter their photo into the competition.
Major Steps:
- Select a theme for each challenge (examples: health, animal welfare, environment)
- Ask employees to submit photos that align with the theme — then, research local nonprofits or community facts about the cause
- Create a slideshow with a mix of photos and facts using a platform such as Google Chat, which will allow employees to vote on their favorite photo by “liking" an image
- Share the slideshow in emails, instant messages, employee meetings, etc.
Competition:
Employees vote for they favorite photos by “liking" the photo. The employees who submitted the top three photos win a prize. Prizes may include a donation to the nonprofit of the employee's choice or a gift card.
